ViIlla Montsalvat
Bedroom Lemuria
Pure White, Deep Red, Absolute Calm
The Lemuria suite at Villa Montsalvat is a study in contrast — and in the quiet power that contrast creates. A dramatic feature wall of raw, whitewashed Ibicenco stone stretches the full width of the room behind two generously sized beds, each dressed in crisp white linen and layered with deep crimson throws and pillows. The effect is striking without being loud: bold, warm and deeply inviting. Vintage white louvred wardrobes and distressed bedside tables in washed white add a note of relaxed, coastal elegance, while soft bedside lamplight creates the kind of warm, amber glow that makes a room feel genuinely restful.
A classical arched opening leads directly into the en-suite bathroom — itself one of the most considered spaces in the villa. The same raw Ibicenco stone continues across the walls, now paired with a floating reclaimed wood double vanity and twin handblown glass vessel sinks. A large frameless mirror doubles the light and space. Monogrammed Villa Montsalvat bathrobes in deep red hang from ornate cast-iron hooks, and a rain shower with hand-held fitting completes a bathroom that is as beautiful as it is functional. A backlit stone niche adds a final, sculptural touch — a detail that belongs to a property where nothing has been left to chance.
